Addressing the event, Permanent NA Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man underlined the difficulties and obstacles facing the country this year, including the impacts posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters.
He underscored the great value and strength within the spirit of solidarity amongst people that face of all the various difficulties and challenges, affirming the strength of the great national unity bloc has always been one of the most important resources for the entire Party, army and people to overcome all difficulties, contributing to successful implementation of the national renewal and development causes.
Permanent NA Vice Chairman also suggested that Hanoi should focus on preventing the epidemic, perfecting a roadmap for safe and effective adaptation to the COVID-19 epidemic in association with economic recovery and development, maintaining political security, social order and safety in addition to the peaceful life of the people; at the same time pay attention to Party building, promote democracy to create a high consensus among people of all strata, determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, building an increasingly civilised and modern capital city.
On this occasion, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and Permanent NA Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man presented gifts to residential area No. 6 and individuals who made active contributions to emulation movements in 2021.
Also on November 13, Politburo member, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council and Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics Nguyen Xuan Thang joined residents of Po Hen village, Hai Son commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province at the great national solidarity festival.
