Laos, Vietnam peace committees enhance links

Speaking at the event, the two sides expressed their delight at the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive co-operation between the two countries. NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan highly valued the role and co-operative activities between the Vietnam Peace Committee and the Lao Committee for Peace and Solidarity. Earlier in the morning, NA Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu also met with his Laos counterpart. They agreed to continue fostering their future partnership through specific activities, including delegation exchange, as well as co-ordination and mutual support in people-to-people diplomacy activities and sharing information and experiences.
