Laos holds state mourning for President Tran Dai Quang

During the two-day national mourning, flags will be flown at half-mast at public offices of the Lao Party and State, and at social organisations from central to local levels from 6am to 6pm, today and tomorrow.

Laos will also cease recreational and entertainment activities throughout the country. This special diplomatic courtesy is due to the bilateral relationship between the nations of Laos and Vietnam.
