Lang Son cultural week 2017 opens

Lang Son Cultural Week 2017 is considered to be the key cultural event of the province as the timing coincides with the festival season of the beginning of the year. Reenactments of local festivals is one of the highlights in the event's opening ceremony. Cultural Week is a great opportunity to promote local cultural heritage and strengthen the province's potential for tourism.

On opening day, there are various booths displaying artifacts and pictures of the many tangible and intangible cultural heritages of Lang Son Province. Ethnic costumes and local masks are among the most curious items, attracting the attention of many tourists, both Vietnamese and foreign. Within the framework of Cultural Week, there are many diverse activities such as musical performances inside caves, Lang Son folk music, food festivals, and conferences about spiritual tourism promotion.
