Landslide kills two, injuring seven in Yen Bai

VTV.vn - A landslide in the northern mountainous province of Yen Bai has killed two and injured seven local people. The incident happened on the afternoon of September 3rd in Tram Tau District.
The two dead people are Vang Thị Phenh, 50, and 8-month-old Hang Thi Dinh. Meanwhile, seven injured people are being provided with the treatment at Nghia Lo General Hospital.
Local authorities provided over 100 USD for each injured victim and nearly 250 USD for families of the dead. The landslide was caused by torrential rains in the western area of Yen Bai Province.
