Land erosion affects North-South railway after storm Usagi

In several places, tens of meters of land had been swept away, leaving only the steel part of the railway. This has affected the safety of the railway, causing a halt to transportation.

A number of trains were stuck in stations in the south of Phan Rang-Tháp Cham city, Ninh Thuận province and in Khanh Hoa province, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.

Since yesterday, local authorities have been cooperating with Thuận Hải Railway Company to deal with the aftermath.
