The Government suggested using about 1.31 billion USD from the fund to support affected laborers. Additionally, the Government proposed reducing the contribution amount of laborers by 1% to 0% with the reduction reaching over 350 million USD.
At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee voted for the approval of the Resolution on supporting employees and employers affected by Covid-19.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the Government direct ministries, sectors, and localities to implement the policy in a timely manner while ensuring transparency and effectiveness to ensure laborers receive the proper support.
