The March edition of Kind Deeds, themed “Sowing Green Sunlight”, introduces these individuals - people who are nurturing hope and compassion through their daily actions.
One such individual is Be Thi Bang, a disabled woman who won the highest title at the Miss Crescent Moon Beauty 2019 pageant and whose journey moved many. Despite having only one leg, she wears high heels and dances confidently through life.
It is also the story of Duong Thi Tuyet, a woman from the Central Highlands who has spent 12 years tirelessly planting seeds of love. Despite her humble beginnings filled with challenges, she and her team have accomplished great things over more than a decade, and their work has become a source of pride for the entire community.
And it is the story of Vu Quang Huy, a young man who has spent 20 years collecting waste and planting trees, gradually bringing a greener future to his hometown. Growing up in Ly Nhan, Ninh Binh, he devoted his youth to quietly doing meaningful work for the community.
Some people overcome life’s hardships not only to stand up for themselves, but also to ignite hope for many others.
