K-Pop world rocked by sex scandals

About 10 people were members of the chat group, including K-Pop idol and Big Bang star Seungri, and TV personality Jung Joon-young.

South Korean police on Thursday questioned these two K-pop stars as allegations of prostitutes and secret chat about rape. Seungri is suspected of “sexual bribery” by paying for prostitutes for foreign businessmen to drum up investment in his business. He denied any wrongdoing and said he would cooperate with police in their investigation.

Meanwhile, Jung Joon-young admitted to having shared illicit content of women. He apologised to the victims and fans who have been outraged by his wrongdoings.
