With the image of 1,000 paper cranes and the effort to fulfil the dream of little Sadako - an atomic bomb victim in Japan - June Kindness tells the story of three characters: the painter Van Y from Ho Chi Minh City, who seeks sounds for deaf children through painting; the teachers from the Misericordia Martial Arts School for poor and disabled children in Hue; and a girl who brings the joy of football to children in ethnic minority areas in the Central Highlands. They are all of the same age and share the same desire to make the dreams of many underprivileged children come true.
By watching June Kindness, viewers will be able to see the dreams of deaf children through a picture drawn on stage, and join host Thuy Van in experiencing the lessons of the Misericordia Martial Arts School that have been given free of charge for 26 years, or hear the story of the old leather ball that has entered the dreams of many poor children.
June Kindness - Dreams will be broadcast on Saturday 10 June at 20:10 on VTV1 channel.
