On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the Vietnamese Journalists Association organized the "Flowers of July" program on the evening of August 1 in Hanoi. The program was attended by Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, members of the Party Central Committee, representatives of heads of ministries, departments and central agencies.
The melodies of deep gratitude for the valiant past of the Fatherland of Vietnam can be heard in the songs selected for the program, such as Steps on the Truong Son Range, My Mother, Song of Hope, Color of Red Flowers and Song of Unforgettable. In this way, the coming generations can understand how the previous ones devoted their youth and spirit to safeguarding the territorial sovereignty and peace of the motherland.
In addition to the special artistic performances, "Flowers of July" also contains touching and proud accounts of the sacrifices made by war heroes, wounded soldiers and martyrs in the resistance war for the cause of national independence and reunification. These reports speak of the contributions of soldiers and wounded soldiers to the cause of nation-building in peacetime, continuing the mission of awakening, cultivating and spreading love, national pride and awareness of nation-building in every Vietnamese.
