Second Grade Fun English is one of the two programs in the "Getting Familiar with English" series for primary school students across the country with the advice and evaluation of the Department of Primary Education, Ministry of Education and Training. The program is a co-production between VTV7 and RES English School System.
With the aim of helping students get used to English and learn English more easily, the program will bring interactive games as well as simple but no less interesting daily communication situations. Especially now that English is an elective for the second grade in elementary school, the program's content is an even more effective tool to help children become more enthusiastic about learning English.
In each broadcast of the program of Second Grade Fun English, children and parents will learn a certain topic, for example: learning to say hello, how to ask for quantity or pronunciation in English.
At the beginning of each episode of the program there is a phonetic song with a cheerful melody that helps children learn the English alphabet.
Then there is exchange and interaction with the teachers of the program, along with many interesting activities such as singing, dancing to lively music, which will definitely make online class even more interesting.
Second Grade Fun English is also an opportunity for students to practice listening and speaking with native teachers: professor Luy and her friend Billy Bug together with the Purple Ants, who have long been familiar friends of children on VTV7.
Lessons of Second Grade Fun English are updated in accordance with the current General Education Program. At the same time, students can fully review the content they have just learned with the worksheets corresponding to each lecture, which are regularly published on the VTV7 Kids fanpage and on the VTV7 website at the addresses https://vtv7.vtv.vn and VTV.vn.
With a regular weekly schedule to help children gradually get used to English and improve their level, Second Grade Fun English will help parents save time, effort and money, especially in times of online learning due to the COVID-19 epidemic. In rural and remote areas, the program also helps second-graders have easier access to English.
