Japanese coast guard ship begins visit to Vietnam
VTV.vn - A Japanese Coast Guard vessel, the Echigo (PLH08), with 85 crew members began a six-day friendly visit to Da Nang city and Quang Nam Province on Tuesday.

The crew, commanded by Colonel Toyota Chikara, will call on the central coastal city, the command of Military Zone 5, the Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre No 2, and the Japanese Language Sakura Centre. The ship will also conduct joint exercises with the Coast Guard Force, Zone 2, while the crew will play a volleyball match.The visit is aimed at promoting understanding and friendship between the Coast Guards of Viet Nam and Japan.
