Japan to help Hanoi clean up to lich river

Advanced technology from Japan will be used for the project. The To Lich River is heavily polluted. It's black and emits a foul odor because of the untreated wastewater that flows into it. Previously the local authorities launched projects to dredge the river and plant trees on its banks. The cleanup is expected to restore the original beauty of the waterway.
