Japan second largest investor in Vietnam

According to the statistics from Ministry of Planning and Investment, 341 newly-registered FDI projects worth nearly 2.6 billion00 million USD were recorded, an increase of more than 40% compared to 2015. The Japan External Trade Organisation reports over 2,000 Japanese businesses are operating in Vietnam. Among them are many businesses working in the country since the 1990s. Most of them operated in manufacturing but now, more businesses are small and medium sized ones working in more varied fields.
