Japan joint initiative continues

First launched in April, 2003, the initiative has been implemented over 5 phases covering more than 440 plans of action. The sixth phase of the initiative covers labour, wages, transport and logistics services, support for SMEs, pharmaceutical distribution, and the Investment and Enterprise Laws and will last until the middle of 2017. The initiative provided a co-operation mechanism to develop proper policies for Vietnam to develop its industry and attract more foreign direct investment.
