The event's highlight was a cooking workshop by Israel's famous chef Ruthie Rousso. She showed the participants Israel’s favorite home recipe for peeta bread and chickpea, a simple but signature dish of Israeli gastronomy. Also at the event, Israel’s high quality agro produces were introduced, representing the country's world-leading expertise in agriculture and food processing. Held by the Israeli Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, the program was part of an effort to promote Israel cuisine to Vietnamese people and enhance mutual understanding between the two cultures.
