The films will feature different genres, including art, entertainment, psychosocial, kid’s movies and short films.
The audience can obtain admission tickets for the festival free of charge at the Office Hall on the ground floor of Hanoi Tower Building at 49 Hai Ba Trung Street, Hanoi (10am to 1pm on November 9-11); BHD Star Cineplex on the eighth floor of Vincom Centre at 2 Pham Ngoc Thach Street, Hanoi (10am to 9pm, from November 7); and at BHB Star Cineplex Bitexco and Icon 68 Trade Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (10am to 9pm, from November 21).
The Israeli Embassy said the festival’s movies have been carefully selected in order to offer the Vietnamese audience an authentic view of Israel’s contemporary culture, life and society. The films mainly revolve around humanity, highlighting family love, the desire to live and conquer peaks, as well as efforts to find love despite differences.
In particular, the festival will reserve a separate screening for children from Hanoi’s SOS Children’s Village as a gift during the weekend.
Among the six movies to be screened are “Apples from the Desert”, “The Farewell Party”, “Reach for the Sky”, and “Shoelaces”.
