Israel enhances agricultural co-operation

A ceremony to welcome the automatic drip irrigation system sponsored by Israel's Agency for International Development Co-operation was held by the Vietnam National University of Agriculture on Friday. This is part of a programme to mark the 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Israel and Vietnam.

Vietnam's agriculture is facing many challenges such as climate change, drought, saltwater intrusion, competitive agricultural exports due to due integration, Israel's support has helped Vietnam cope with these challenges and increase productivity in the agriculture sector.
