Representatives of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) has revealed that 80% of Vietnam's internet cables have been recovered.
VNPT has assured that the APG connection is now back in order. According to telecommunications authorities, engineers are still working hard to fix the AAG cables and are expected to meet the deadline of 3 days. This means the repairs of 2 main internet cable routes are on schedule and are going as planned. Previously, all 3 underwater internet cable systems of AAG, APG and IA had been damaged, resulting in disrupted internet connectivity.
