International visitors to Vietnam increase by nearly 11%

September 2019 was also the fourth month since the beginning of the year and the second consecutive month that the number of international visitors to Vietnam reached over 1.5 million. In 9 months, foreign visitors mainly came via air with 10.19 million.

The majority of visitors to Vietnam are people from other Asian countries, accounting for nearly 80% of total tourists, followed by tourists from Europe. The remaining months of the year are forecast to be peak season for international arrivals, allowing for the likelihood of the industry to achieve its goal by year-end.
