Lotte, in collaboration with the Japan-Finland Dental Caries Prevention Association, organized a professional training course in Finland through the "Smart Habit" project, aiming to improve global oral health, with the participation of the Viet Nam Odonto - Stomatology Association (VOSA) and leading experts from Japan and Korea.
The training gathered the participation of the Viet Nam Odonto - Stomatology Association (VOSA) and top dental experts from Japan and Korea.
The "Smart Habit" project, initiated by the Finnish government, aims to enhance the oral health of its citizens. This project has been successfully implemented in Finland by focusing on educating the public about preventive dental care concepts, thereby reducing tooth decay and other oral diseases.

Recognizing the importance of early oral health care, Lotte has expanded this project to other countries to enhance global oral health. This is based on research into the Finnish government's success in integrating Xylitol into daily oral care routines as an effective supplementary measure for preventing tooth decay.
In Vietnam, Lotte successfully initiated the project with online oral health care classes for elementary school students. Building on this success, Lotte further brought top representatives from VOSA to Finland to directly study and experience the implementation of the "Smart Habit" project.
During the training, experts participated in on-site visits to pharmacies, medical facilities, and schools to deeply understand how "Smart Habit" with Xylitol is applied in Finnish education and oral care. They also attended seminars and workshops with leading dental experts to accumulate practical knowledge and experience.
Notable activities in the training course in Finland included visits to Jumbo supermarkets and pharmacies to observe the display of Xylitol products, as well as visits to kindergartens in Espoo and health centers in Vanta.
