The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism on May 5 reported that since Vietnam fully reopened to tourists on March 15, 2022, Vietnam has maintained high growth in this index, demonstrating the strong recovery of the country's tourism industry.
A high search volume for Vietnam tourism information has been recorded in the US, Singapore, Japan, India, France, Germany, Thailand, Canada, and the UK. Vietnam's most searched destinations were Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Hue, and Quy Nhon.
The tourism sector's revenue has hit 211 trillion VND (or 9 billion USD) in the last five months.
