Inter-bank electronic payments: 10 times higher than GDP

In Vietnam, modern payment solutions via mobile phone, QR code, and non-contact payment, which apply identification technology via biometrics are becoming more popular. In 2018, the total value of inter-bank electronic payments reached more than 10 times the country's GDP.

With the participation of banks, payment intermediaries, and service providers, mobile payments are expected to boom in the near future.
