Int’l arrivals to Vietnam surge in October
VTV.vn - The number of foreign arrivals to Vietnam in October reached nearly 650,000, up 3.6% compared with last month, a year-on-year increase of 16%.

The rise was significant in tourists from Asian markets, such as South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. In the first 10 months this year, the South Korean tourist market witnessed an increase of over 30% compared with last year. The rise in international arrivals is partly attributed to unilateral visa exemptions for 7 nationalities; namely Japan, South Korea, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, and Russia.
