Improving the management functions of State Treasury

At the seminar "Improving Treasury Management Functions" hosted by the Vietnam State Treasury, in coordination with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, delegates agreed that the state treasury is not merely a holder of state finances, but will need to enhance its functions.

Besides running a large database, the State Treasury is also aiming to transform its model, from managing alone to providing extra services, meeting the requirements of transparency and accountability of ministries, branches, and localities.
