Improved vietnamese language teaching in Laos

Over the past 55 years, the special relationship between Laos and Vietnam has continuously strengthened and developed. Along with increased ties in trade, investment, health and education, has come a greater need for Vietnamese language lessons. Vietnamese language teaching in has become a priority for Vietnam's Ministry of Education and  Training.

The new textbook will help Laos students improve their Vietnamese speaking skill. It also helps them improve their knowledge about the culture and relationship between Laos and Vietnam. The new textbook will be used starting from this school year 2017-2018 in some schools in Laos. The goal is to make Vietnamese become the official language taught in all schools in Laos.
