Illegal drug factories exposed

The illegal drugs confiscated included 520,000 ecstasy pills and 120 kilograms of unprocessed crystal meth, estimated to be worth around 8.8 million USD.

The first drug factory belonged to Hanoi-born Tran Ngoc Hieu. His operations were highly equipped with modern technology and an automated production chain. His MO was to relocate his factory after each batch of production.

The second factory belonged to Vu Tuan Phan from Hai Phong. Its primary product was crystal meth. Both men have been arrested and are currently awaiting trial.
