VTV.vn - The Lieu Quan Hue Buddhist Cultural Centre in the central province of Thua Thien Hue yesterday held a conference on the preservation of Buddhist scriptures.

The event drew the participation of monks, officials and researchers. The participants discussed and shared experience in researching and preserving over 2,933 woodblocks currently kept in Thua Thien Hue.  The conference published the survey conducted across 13 pagodas in the province. Tu Dam Pagoda currently stores over 1,319 and is the largest repository of these old archives. The event was also a chance for the public to learn more about the importance and role of the woodblocks.
