VTV.vn - Vietnamese visitors to the Hue Imperial Citadel will benefit from free entry for the first three days of the lunar year.

Events including a changing of the guard, lion dances, royal court music and royal games will take place. The Cây Nêu bamboo pole raising ritual, an old custom to pray for peace in the new year will be re-enacted at the Imperial Citadel on February 8.

Foreign visitors will still have to pay entry.
