The series wrapped up successfully with a musical concert and firework performance on Wednesday.
The information was announced by Hue Festival organizing board at a press conference on Thursday in Hue central city. Themed “710 years of Thuan Hoa, Phu Xuan, Thua Thien – Hue, Cultural Heritage with Integration and Development”, this year’s festival honored the cultural beauty of the imperial city through different periods. During the festival, the central province of Thua Thien – Hue welcomed 250,000 tourist arrivals, up 23 percent from the previous festival. Of the total, 68,200 were foreign visitors. On the peak days of May 1st and 2nd, Hue welcomed 21,500 visitors a day.
