Homeland Spring Program 2022 welcomes Vietnamese from abroad

Over the past 2 years many Vietnamese abroad haven't been able to visit their families and homeland due to COVID-19. The annual Homeland Spring Program still carries on.

The 2022 program will be held at 8pm on January 22nd (December 20th in the lunar calendar). It will be in a hybrid format at the Opera House. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Friday that the program will be broadcasted live on VTV1 and VTV4

The Homeland Spring Program 2022 for the overseas Vietnamese community is the largest political, diplomatic, and cultural activity at the beginning of 2022.

It connects Vietnamese abroad with their homeland. It is also an occasion for leaders of the government to tend to the thoughts and wishes of Vietnamese living overseas. It honours collectives and individuals who have made contributions to Vietnam.
