According to the organisers of the Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand Award, as it is officially known, the 2021 edition attracted the participation of 62 enterprises in four key industrial sectors and nine services.
Based on a set of ten criteria, the jury selected 30 enterprises with outstanding products and services to present with the award.
Speaking at the event, Ho Chi Minh City Chairman Phan Van Mai said the award will encourage enterprises to innovate and develop sustainable brands so as to enhance the competitiveness of local companies.
He called on the business companies to work harder while pledging to step up administrative reform to better serve enterprises and create a favourable business climate.
The companies receiving the award included Cholimex Food, Masan Consumer, Vissan, Duy Tan Plastics, Van Thanh Mattress, and Binh Dien Fertilizer.
