Homeland Spring is an activity that contributes to promoting the spirit of solidarity between people inside the country and our compatriots abroad, bringing love and reunion to all overseas Vietnamese on the occasion of the new year.
The program, organized by the State Committee for Vietnamese Abroad under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is an important political-cultural program for the Vietnamese community abroad, which includes many significant activities.
- Ceremony of offering incense and release of fish according to traditional rituals;
- Visit to the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, the commemorative ceremony for the Heroes and Martyrs;
- Meeting with senior leaders of the Party, State, Central Committee of the Fatherland Front of Vietnam and a art exchange program at the Opera House. In particular, the program, with the assistance of Party and state leaders, show their deep affection and care for Vietnamese abroad.
The event has the participation of artists from the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet, Vietnam Music and Dance Theatre, Anh Em Group, New Vitality Bamboo Orchestra, Conductor Dong Quang Vinh, Ngo Tue Man, TV host Le Anh, Thanh Giang, Thuy Quynh and Do Re Mi Club, Little Flower.
