Hoi An cracks down on cacophony, restores quiet
VTV.vn - Hội An town in Quảng Nam Province is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam, especially among foreigners.
But since it is not a relic but a residential town, it faces difficulty coping with both tourism and residency. Local authorities are now taking action to reduce the load on the old town and to bring order to its commercial establishment. This will help restore peace to the old town and make its tourism sustainable.
