A total of 403 mobile medical stations have been established in the country's largest COVID-19 hotspot of Ho Chi Minh City as of August 25, following the direction of the Ministry of Health in order to give health care services to COVID-19 patients at home amid the overload of the healthcare system due to the complicated developments of COVID-19.
Medical workers at the station are being tasked with providing health care services and consultation to COVID-19 patients as well as vaccination services for local residents.
They have also conducted COVID-19 testing, particularly in red zones (extremely high-risk areas) and orange zones (high-risk areas) in order to detect infections in the communities.
