VTV.vn - The Ho Chi Minh city Public Passenger Transport Management and Operation Center plans to propose that the municipal Department of Transport resume minibus services to transport passengers from narrow alleys to wider streets.

If the proposal is approved, the center will launch 30 minibus lines, comprised of 200-250 12-seat minibuses. These vehicles can run through four- to six-meter-wide alleys and will feature the symbol of HCMC.

Commuters will only have to walk 200 meters to catch the minibuses, which will begin pilot programs in Districts 1, 10, and Tan Binh next year if the scheme gets nod.
