Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc handed over the aid to Raul Rodriguez Carricate, Director of the Department of International Cooperation under the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, at a ceremony held in La Habana on April 20 (local time).
Speaking at the event, Raul Rodriguez Carricate expressed his thanks for the support of Ho Chi Minh City authorities and people to Matanzas City and Cuba in general.
Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc is among the entourage accompanying National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue during his official visits to Cuba, Argentina, and Uruguay from April 18-28.
Duc will represent Ho Chi Minh City leaders to take part in several activities, including the presentation of a statue of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese Embassy in Argentina, and the signing of a letter of intent for cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City, Argentina’s Buenos Aires Province, and Uruguay’s Montevideo City.
