Those honoured are pioneers in applying advances in science and technology in husbandry, flower farming, vegetable and fruit farming, and agricultural microbiology to increase their yields and earn high incomes.
According the HFA, the awarding of the title of outstanding farmers is intended to promptly discover and commend representative examples in agricultural production.
They also serve as bright examples, strengthening the farmers movement in the city, helping build a city with a better quality of life.
On the occasion, the HFA also honoured 30 notable agricultural products having high quality and value.
