The event was attended by Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education.
One of the exhibitions featured the 154 bests photos and sets of photos selected from a national art photo contest on the country’s sovereignty over seas and islands, which was launched by the PCC’s Commission for Communications and Education and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Meanwhile, on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, the organising committee displayed 80 photos at an exhibition themed “Ho Chi Minh City, for the whole country, together with the whole country.” The exhibits introduce an overview of the great victory in the spring of 1975 as well as the city’s development towards becoming a national economic, cultural, educational, and technological centre.

Opposite to Chi Lang Park, 50 photos are being displayed to highlight the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City as well as affirming that the tradition of kindness and love have become a characteristic in the behavioural culture, thinking, and actions of the people.
