Ho Chi Minh City Buddhist cultural fortnight marks Vu Lan
VTV.vn - Today is the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, which is also the Vu Lan festival, aiming to pay tribute to motherly love.

This is an important Buddhist ritual. In Ho Chi Minh City, many monks and nuns visited Vinh Nghiem Pagoda from the early in the morning to chant and recite the Buddhist scripture.

They burnt incense and wore roses. The Vu Lan Festival is intended to encourage people to respect and cherish their parents. This is also an occasion to pray for happiness and peace.

Vu Lan Festival in Ho Chi Minh City will continue with series of meaningful activities during this month.
