The report series The Road to Dien Bien brought the audience back to the fighting atmosphere of 65 years ago. The episodes that has been aired left deep impressions on the audience through the stories of historical witnesses. Through the episodes of The Road to Dien Bien, the audience learns about the powers that made the famous Dien Bien victory. Subsequent episodes of this series will be broadcast every Saturday 7:30 on VTV1.
Another highlight of the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory is the VTV Special documentary - Fire Siege. Inspired by the book "Dien Bien Phu Hedgehog" and the battlefield of the trenches, the crew of the Foreign Program Department discovered the Dien Bien Phu stronghold and told the journey to find the traces of the battlefield of trenches - the key factor deciding the victory.
The mysteries of the trench warfare system, the recreation of the old battle, the combination of sound and vivid images will be the highlight of the film. VTV Special - The Fire Siege will be broadcast on May 7 at on VTV1 channel.
The live broadcast program - Dien Bien- Peaceful Rendezvous is another notable program in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory. Combining the current experience and reminiscent of the past, the witnesses from the both sides Vietnam and France will meet in Dien Bien - a historic rendezvous.
The program will be broadcast live at 20h10 on May 5 on VTV1 channel.
