High ranking officials visit poor households in Long An province

Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh and former State President Truong Tan Sang said they were impressed by the achievements that Long An has made in the past year, during their visit to the province yesterday morning. Specifically, the province collected 645 million US dollars to the state budget, the highest figure in the Mekong Delta. The ratio of poor households decreased to 2.22%. Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Biình requested Long An accelerate efforts to achieve a higher economic growth rate for 2019 and become an attractive locality for investment. On the same day, the Deputy Prime Minister visited soldiers stationed in Long An ahead of Lunar New Year.
