Producing high-quality products will enable Vietnamese businesses to make inroads into the global market, experts said at a workshop in Hanoi on May 10, jointly held by the Business Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Products and the Business Studies & Assistance Centre. Experts highlighted the adoption of innovative solutions in marketing and the building of geographical indications as playing crucial roles.
Executive Director of GS25 Retail Group of the Republic of Korea said that Vietnam needs to ensure food safety and hygiene so that its products could be widely distributed in foreign markets. Additionally, businesses should develop their own brand names by investing in design, labels and the origins of products. At the workshop, businesses were updated on a set of criteria involving high-quality products, including food safety and hygiene.
