VTV.vn - A resident of Khanh Hoa province was swept away by floodwaters and is still missing. Many residential areas have been flooded and isolated.

As of this morning, the flooding situation in Khanh Hoa was still complicated. Prolonged heavy rains flooded a number of areas along the major rivers of Khanh Hoa. Many households had to be evacuated during the night. Severe flooding swept away one person in Vạn Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province. Until this morning, reservoirs in Khanh Hoa province have continued discharging water to regulate the floods. Many areas are heavily flooded causing areas such as Vĩnh Phương, Vĩnh Trung, Diên An to become isolated.

Heavy rains also caused a landslide on Highway 27C on the route connecting the cities of Nha Trang with Da Lat, causing congestion for more than 5 hours. Earlier in the afternoon of November 29, about 2,000 cubic meters of rock and soil had collapsed on Khánh Lê pass, Highway 27C. Units deployed vehicles and manpower to overcome the landslide's aftermath and blocked the two ends of the Khanh Le pass to ensure traffic safety. This route is currently open for one-way traffic.
