This trend is forecasted to increase, as income per capita is being improved significantly and people's health care needs increase. The market potential is considered large, interesting more foreign investors in Vietnam's health care industry.

The field of medical examination and treatment will still be quite selective for investors. However, in the short term, there will be many opportunities for foreign investors who want to invest in the pharmaceutical field, since the State Capital Investment Corporation is planning to divest from businesses in the health field from now until 2020.
