Workers' average monthly income grows by 5.3% in H1
Workers' average monthly income stood at 278 USD in the first half of this year, rising 5.3% and 11% from the same period in 2021 and 2020, respectively, according to data from the General Statistics Office.
In particular, workers in the processing - manufacturing industry had an average income of 312 USD, rising by some 20.3 USD year on year, while salary earners saw an increase of 17.8 USD in their monthly income to 316.5 USD.
In the second quarter, all 21 economic sectors recorded year-on-year hikes in workers' average income, including mining, up 17.1%, and processing manufacturing, up 12.4%.
