The Nguyen Hue Flower Street opens from February 13 to 19 to mark the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.
Stretching a total of 720 meters, the flower street is divided into three sections with three different themes, namely 'Spring In the City,' 'Integration and Development,' and 'Reach Out to the Future.'
This year’s event features a greeting gate emblazoned with the 2018 Lunar New Year’s mascot – the dog. The highlight at the street is a giant 2m dog, decorated with flowers and featuring the Phu Quoc Island’s ridgeback dogs famous for their agility and intelligence.
Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2018 will last until the fourth day of the Lunar New Year (February 19). This is the 15th event hosted by the southern economic hub to help local citizens and visitors enjoy Tet.
