HCMC 1 month after anti-pandemic measure adjustments

VTV.vn - November 1st marks 1 month since HCMC adjusted measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic and gradually recover and develop socio-economically.

After a month, HCMC no longer has any areas in the red zone, and only Binh Tan district remains in the orange zone. 50% of HCMC is in the yellow zone, and 45% is in the green zone.

Most supermarkets and convenience stores, along with 120 traditional markets across the city, have reopened. More than 1 million workers have returned to the city, and 93% of businesses have resumed operations.

The average number of newly infected patients is currently in three digits, and the number of deaths has consistently remained at double digits and is decreasing.

Nearly 80% of people aged 18 and over have been fully vaccinated. And as of the last week of October, over 350,000 children aged 12-17 had received one vaccine dose against COVID-19.
