HCM City production increase

The city had more than 2,800 newly established businesses in January, a 23% increase over the same period last year. Adjusted capital in January tripled that for the same period last year. Industrial production in January 2017 grew by just over 8% compared to 15% this January.

The report suggested that the amount of goods prepared in the city for the forthcoming Lunar New Year is up 20 - 30% year on year. Hồ Chí Minh City’s leaders noted that the city needed to prepare for the holiday and pay attention to the needs of the less well-off.
